Instructions for Use:
1) Wrap Rescue Tape around project by stretchig and overlapping
onto itself. Stretch
at least double to ensure the best fusion. For high pressure leaks, stretch to the maximum amount. Rescue Tape
works on
either side. The tighter Rescue Tape is wrapped, the quicker and stronger the bond.
2) Continue overlapping Rescue Tape onto
itself by 50% so that 1/2 the width is covered by the next wrap. The first and last wrap shold completely overlap onto itself. Most
repairs can be made by wrapping 3 to 5 layers thick and wrapping 3 to 5 inches on both sides of the repair. For high pressure
leaks, additional layers may be necessary to add strength.
3) Rescue Tape begins fusing immediately and is not resusable. For
best results, do not attempt to reposition after the fusing process begins.
